Winter is still here. I know, big news. I just means that not much is happening at the farm. I have been selling lots of stuff on Ebay and that's kept me busy.
Also, auctioning has finally started up again after the break in December and January. Yay!
And yesterday I baked bread and made pigs in blankets.
The house smelled heavenly! Breathe in deeply with me. You can almost smell it, too, can't you?
I can smell it. Wish I was eating it. Oh, wait....I do have a loaf rising as we speak! Soon my kitchen will smell heavenly too :-)
ReplyDeleteCopycat! It does make it easier to" imagine" the smell, though.
DeleteThat's a lot of delicious looking piggies! More than one meal?
ReplyDeleteYes, I freeze them and the kids take out a couple at a time and nuke them for a minute. They turn out perfect.
DeleteI haven't had pigs in a blanket since I was a kid, those bring back fond memories. The bread looks very good too, wish you lived closer :) I think we will become close friends when we move to Iowa and we will be visiting you all a lot.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are always welcome! The day is getting closer, Gordon. :)
DeleteI think I can smell the great smells of baking! I love pigs in a blanket and your bread looks so good!
ReplyDeleteMr Farmer LOVES coming home on bread-making day! It's such a nice wintery feeling--warm and comforting. The pigs in a blanket lasted only a few days, as the kids love them too.
