A New Variety

Remember last summer when I grew this Dogplant?

This year I decided to try adding a new plant to my garden. It is a variety of Catnip known as Princess Puffy.

I found it as a volunteer last year.

I took a start and decided to transplant it into one of my pots. Look how it's grown!

  1. I'm still waiting for you to send me that start of dognip that I requested way back in June 2012. Hmmph, you're not gonna do it, are you?

    1. I'm not sure the plant would make it if I took a start. I think I have the variety that has been modified to be sterile. However, this new variety is definitely not sterile and I can send as many starts as you'd like.

    2. No, no, no! I'll pass, but thanks for the offer. I've found that variety quite invasive, and it spreads rampantly when it gets the chance.
